Achievement of a Community Cultural Development model that combines artistic expression with social and educational development of the population of Medellin.

Desearte Paz (Wishing you Peace) is a project that, through the production of artistic laboratories builds a local model of communal cultural development that builds bridges between social, political, cultural and educational structures and people from the community with the right to build a culture of peace. Art laboratories are conceived as spaces for exchanging knowledge among the experts and community groups in order to advance with the design of proposals for joint actions to experiment with different ways of solving social problems.

Transformed since 2007 in the project Redesearte Paz promotes the construction of a network of cultural agents that through the tools of Contemporary Art and Culture strengthen social cohesion and culture of peace.
