Intercultural Mediation Service performs tasks of counseling, guidance and support to newcomers. It also provides professional services of intercultural mediation, language and cultural codes interpretation.
It also guides and trains professionals and actively works with other social actors operating in the territory to promote intercultural harmony.

Its purpose is to help in the field of municipal programs for social integration of newcomers and contribute to build an intercultural society. With its task it wants to promote intercultural harmony, ie work to build a society where cultural diversity does not necessarily imply an insuperable conflict, but new forms of relationships built from the management and reformulation of conflict and richness that brings multicultural contexts.
